Does it actually cool the air, or just move it around?
It cools it. The fan draws air through an ice-filled chamber before it reaches you, so what you feel is colder than the air around you — not just wind. The difference is most noticeable on the lower speed settings when air spends more time in contact with the ice.
How often do I need to refill the ice?
Ice typically lasts 1–2 hours depending on how hot it is and which speed you're running. The fan keeps working after the ice melts — it just becomes a regular fan. You can also pre-freeze the insert for a longer initial chill.
Can I use it without ice?
Yes. Without ice it runs as a powerful handheld or clip-on fan. You get the full 20,000 RPM airflow; the ice just adds the cold layer on top.
How loud is it?
On low and medium speeds it's quiet enough for office use without disturbing coworkers. High speeds produce more noise, similar to a standard desk fan. Most customers use it on mid-range speeds day to day.
Can it charge my phone while it runs?
